Letter of Goodbye

So, at work, I received a email from HR addressed to the whole company. It was a message explaining why a certain PM was leaving the company. (See Below)!


Dear Team Members,

It is with great sadness that I report to you that Troy McClellan is leaving our employ. Troy initially came on board to work as a Project Manager; the intent being that he would manage our international work. At the time we had great prospects brewing in China and Troy's skill set and experience were a great match. Unfortunately, negotiations for work in China have proven to be very slow, and Steve Wynn (Vegas Casino/Business Entrepreneur) came knocking on Troy's door.

Troy was offered the opportunity to be the Project Manager for Wynn Resort Macau , as well as be involved in the development of future international Wynn resort properties . An amazing opportunity to do the exact type of work he loves. (He's moving to Macau.) Our loss is Steve Wynn's gain, but we are very pleased Troy will be able to do the work he loves. We wish him the best in his work, and hope our paths cross again.

Dear Team Members,
It is with great hapiness that I report to you that Gustavo Dias da Silva is leaving our employ. Gustavo initially came on board to work as a slave; the intent being that he would work under no pay and no benefits. At the time we had great prospects in the basement and Gustavo's skill set and experience were a great match. Unfortunately, cleaning and organizing all the files and drawings in the basement have proven to be very inneficient, and Peter Pan (from Neverland) opened Gustavo's cell.
Gustavo was offered the opportunity to be a big movie Director in Neverland, as well as be involved in the development of future international "Middle of Nowhere". An amazing opportunity to do the exact type of work he loves - Nothing... (He's moving to Neverland - not Michael Jackson's ranch). Our loss, nobody to clean the mess, but we are very pleased to announce openings for the Slave role Contest. We wish Gustavo the worst in his life, and hope he dies miserably.

Mommy dearest

So last night I saw what it seems to be “a must see” in every American gay man “curriculum”; “Mommy dearest” tells the story of Joan Crawford through the perspective of her adopted daughter. Countless times I have heard friends quoting the film’s famous lines and didn’t understand why everybody would laugh about it. I guess the film is a classic, therefore it has its value but I have to admit I was a little bored with the plot saving some funny parts when a lunatic Joan (played by excellent Faye Dunaway) was beating up poor Christina. Poor??? Not really… I wonder if she was in fact that sweet and JC was that crazy… After all, spoiled kids can be devilish, and since it was the kid’s point of view… After watching the film I could understand why Joan Crawford is a big icon to the Gay community… I can see many “Joan Crawfords” snapping in West Hollywood, if you know what I mean…

Lil Zack

On Sunday, Randy came back from Colorado with a new baby, a tiny, cute one. His sister had promised us Zack (his name) three months ago. Zack is a Jack Russell puppy. He is so funny and composed. Although he is only 8 weeks, he has already developed his very own personality; au contraire of every other baby dog, he is not clumsy but very sturdy. It is funny to see him wagging his cut little tail and hopping from one place to another. He follows Maggie wherever she goes and they are always playing and fighting, which after a while gets on our nerves, but at least, they are biting each other rather than our hands and ankles… eeeewww!!! They are just adorable and very affectionate! I can’t wait for them to get all their shots so I can take them to the Dog Park!!!
