LOST

Last week I was working with my friend Taesik Kim who is originally from Korea and he told me that the Korean guy from Lost (Daniel Dae Kim) can hardly speak that language. He even told me that my accent is better than his and that sometimes he needs to read the subtitles to understand what was said by his character.
At the same time I thought Taesik's comment was funny and made me laugh, it stuck to my mind and made me somewhat disappointed with the show. Don't get me wrong. I am still completely hooked on it but it made me wonder how come one of the TV's biggest hits would jeopardize its reputation by using an american actor who cannot speak Korean to play that role. I am sure the entire Korean community in USA is either laughing or enfuriated with that pathetic choice.
Daniel Dae Kim probably has great connections with the poducers. Either that, or Jin-Soo is part of many still unfolded secrets of LOST.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Last night I was watching the Victoria Secret Fashion show, Tyra's farewell. I will quote Gisele Bundchen's (my favorite all time supermodel) description of VSFS "It is a real show, it is fun! It is like a piece of Broadway in the catwalk". That is right. Great lighting, live music, art and of course amazing and sophisticatedly designed panties and bras, what Victoria Secret is all about! But that is not only it. Victoria Secret is also about gorgeous models with perfect bodies and real curves. Yes! They have the famous guitar body, boobs and booty, everything in place and right size. Instead of robots in the "runaway", VS brought back the models with sex-appeal. A fashion show that even "real men" wants to take a peak. It is very worthy checking it out in case the fashion world is of your interest.
